1 1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp cinnamon (if desired)
3 1/2 cup Bloom Ranch Walnut Meats
Cook sugar, water and salt to soft ball stage, (244-248 degrees). Don't stir too much. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and cinnamon. Stir to coat the walnuts in syrup. Work quickly and spread as thin as possible on waxed paper or foil. Break pieces apart when cool.
*A few drops of mint may be used to flavor if desired.
